Fundació TicSalut presents the shared medical record and the adjusted morbidity groups in Peking

On the past 23 and 24 April, Fundació TicSalut attended the "Forum of Medical Innovation, Application and Development 2015" held in Peking. Organised by the Chinese Health Ministry, the forum was intended as a meeting point for researchers, health professionals and senior Chinese health directors to collect information from experts around the world on health management and the new technologies.

Health Interoperability Forum in Barcelona with the collaboration of Fundació TicSalut

On 22 and 23 April, the Cibernàrium events hall in Barcelona hosted the fifth edition of the Health Interoperability Forum. Organised by the Spanish Society of Health Informatics (SEIS), and with the support of Fundació TicSalut, Barcelona City Hall and the "red.es" program of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, the meetings were called to discuss the evolution of the regulations solving ever-evolving requirements.

Interview with the General Secretary of the Health Department of the Government of Catalonia

Roser Fernández: "The shared Medical Record is the key element to placing the patient at the centre of the system and to guaranteeing the continuity, safety and quality of the healthcare".

Roser Fernández i Alegre has been General Secretary of the Health Department of the Government of Catalonia for more than four years. As General Secretary, she is responsible for coordinating strategic planning and for managing public policies in the area of health and its impact on the preparation of the departmental budget.  At the present time, as a result of Decree 119/2014 which restructures the Health Department, the Area of Information and Communication Technologies now depends on the General Secretary.  Therefore, in Flash TicSalut we want to know the impact of this restructuring on the environment of new health technologies and the strategic projects planned in the medium-term.
