Catalonia Smart Health Ecosystem Meeting, collaborative innovation in social care and healthcare.

On Tuesday 10 November the Catalonia Smart Health Ecosystem meeting was held at the auditorium of the MediaTIC building in Barcelona. Organised by the European Connected Health Alliance (ECHAlliance) and Fundació TicSalut, the meeting was conceived as a place for the joint construction of a work plan to develop and implement innovative solutions for social care and healthcare.

Balance of Fundació TicSalut’s participation in the SNOMED CT EXPO 2015 in Uruguay

On the past 29 and 30 October, the SNOMED CT EXPO 2015 was held in Montevideo, Uruguay. This event aims to create a place for exchanging experiences in the international development and use of SNOMED CT. The Fundació TicSalut presented the Clinical Dictionary for iHealth, the transversal project of the Health Department and led by the Office of Standards and Interoperability.

"5 minuts" program; a place to exchange knowledge, experiences and information between the professionals.

The "5 minuts" program of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona is a virtual service of training and information that allows professionals of the centre to exchange knowledge via brief and interactive sessions that are given each week via a webcasting platform.

At the end of September past, a delegation from the Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSF) of Singapore visited Europe to understand and exchange experiences and information in the sector of social services with different governments. In the week from 17 to 24 September, in their visit to Catalonia, we had the chance to contact Doctor Christina Gan, the director of the social side of the IDA, which is the equivalent in Singapore of the Centre for Telecommunications and Information Technologies of the Government of Catalonia (CTTI).
