Success in participation at the SNOMED CT meeting: Experiences and new challenges in Catalonia

More than a hundred people took part at the meeting organised by TicSalut, which focused on the SNOMED CT terminology and the main experiences in interoperability, including the Intersocial project, the Clinical Dictionary for iSalut and the AppSalut Portal.

BCSalut 17 Meeting: Management of information in a digital environment

On 8 and 9 June, the Department of Health organised the 2nd Meeting of Libraries and Health of Catalonia (#BCSalut17) in Barcelona. Under the motto of “Collaborating in an environment of global connection, open science: new functions and opportunities”, the meetings dealt with the future trends around collaboration in an environment of global connection of information or open science, open management of research information and access to information in a digital environment.

More than 8,000 nurses from around the world met in Barcelona from 27 May to 1 June at the 25th International Congress of Nurses. The most important nursing congress in the world dealt with subjects like human resources for health, universal health coverage and the Sustainable Development Objectives. In Flash TicSalut we wanted to see the impact of this congress on the sector by interviewing Albert Tort, the president of the Barcelona Official School of Nursing, and we asked him about the main challenges nurses have to face and how the ever more present irruption of new technologies is being handled.

Published, the SERAM 2016 review

The Clinical Dictionary for iHealth has worked on the radiology services by checking out the new version of the SERAM published in  2016. In addition to this review, the section on Musculoskeletal CT was also extended and some services considered necessary by the group of experts of the domain were added.
