We invite you to the presentation of the Map of Tendencies 2013, the event which in the last seven years the Fundació TicSalut has promoted and which objectively shows the development of ICTs in health organisations in Catalonia and the main international tendencies in the sector. The meeting is on the coming Friday 20 December from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Auditorium of the Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme and is open to all those interested.
TicSalut signs an agreement with UniversalDoctor to improve multilingual communication in Catalan health centres
In order to offer and provide healthcare of the utmost quality and efficiency, healthcare professionals must completely understand what the patients they have to attend and visit are saying. Following this premise, the Fundació TicSalut has reached an agreement with UniversalDoctor.
One of the challenges derived from the large number of mobile apps now available is the patients’ confusion when choosing the right app for their needs. Doctors show the same doubts. How can all the agents involved enable the use of mHealth to expand and reach maturity?
New Director of Innovation of the Fundació TicSalut
The Fundació TicSalut has appointed Dr. Jordi Martínez new Director of Innovation. Until now, he had been head of the Area of Healthcare Management and Integration for the Catalan Health Institute (ICS). In the area of healthcare, Dr. Martínez has led several Primary Attention Teams (EAP) in Catalonia and has also been the medical director of Vilafranca Hospital. He is a family doctor qualified in Health Integrated Service Management by ESADE and with a master’s degree in Health Institution Management from the UAB. Furthermore, he is on the publishing board of the ‘Innovació Sanitària i Atenció Integrada’ (RISAI) magazine and is a member of B-Salut.
