The mHealth Economics Program 2017 is the 7th edition of the most comprehensive global study on digital mobile health applications. In this study, the development of digital health in mobility has been explored since 2010 with more than 15,000 participants since its inception.
Gamification is the application of strategies, techniques and dynamics inherent to games in non-play activities, and is intended to enhance motivation, achieve learning, modify a habit or reinforce a behaviour. Gamification in health is a tool that is used to achieve health prevention and promotion, physical and cognitive rehabilitation, and the rehabilitation of various pathologies or health education.
The DIACARE project begins the design phase of solutions to improve the self-management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Last May 2017, the Fundació TIC Salut Social and Novo Nordisk Foundation signed a collaboration agreement to promote the Diacare project, seeking benefit for people with type 2 diabetes, as well as their personal and healthcare environment. The Diacare project, developed at the CAP Comte Borrell, is currently in the design phase of solutions to improve self-management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Each year, the Fundació TIC Salut Social conducts the Trends Map survey among the Information Systems Officers of the Provider Entities of the Catalan Health System. Among the indicators of the survey, there are some specific ones on digital medical imagery that allow the needs of the sector to be identified. The answers enable us to draw the following conclusions.
The day consolidates the well-welcomed survey released in the last quarter of last year in SISCAT Provider Entities (PE), which achieved a 50% participation in the first edition, and which analyses the perception of those responsible for four areas: Entity-Citizen relationship, My Health, Change Management and Future Vision. It is briefly commented below.

Once again, we take advantage of the beginning of the year to collect the impressions of our Director, Dr. Francesc Garcia Cuyàs, who considers the main trends observed in the Catalan health ecosystem in the last year and those that will come in 2018. This year, however, we are echoing an interview by HIMSS Europe that was recently published and which we want to share here.
